Welcome to IOT-100 - a Collaborative exercise between CopperCloud and the MIT AOE Institute that aims to bring Industry-oriented skills in the IOT Domain to technical education.
In the best traditions of Academia+Industry jointmanship, this unique initiative brings a blend of Classroom, Online and Self-paced Learning Tracks to students, to deliver a 100-Hours of Skill-based, Real-World training Course to the Students community.

IOT-100 Course Outline
The Course is organized around the following components, delivered in a blended learning mode:
Classroom Training
Instructor-led sessions to teach concepts and architecture elements, and supervised hands-on exercises. IOT Kits (with microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and other components) will be provided for hands-on exercises, for the duration of the Course. These kits will be used for Self-paced learning as well.
Online Instructor-Led Sessions
Instructor-led sessions conducted online (scheduled manner), to conduct additional Demos, and to build on top of concepts and architecture elements covered in Classroom-mode. This channel is designed to make sure that the Students can continue with the learning activities in this Course on weekdays as well, without disrupting other schedules.
Self-Paced Learning
Students shall use this channel base don their own time availability to re-inforce learnings from Classroom and Online modes, and build more hands-on skills using the Kits provided. Learning resources as well as guided video tutorials will be provided for Students to make best use of the self-paced learning. Students will be responsible for completing the prescribed assignments during self-paced mode, and demo it to Instructors when required.
Industry Site Visit
This Course is aimed at imparting professional-grade real-world skills. As such, a Site Visit to a real Industry4.0/IOT deployment site is considered a huge value addition to make the concepts and technologies being covered in the Course very real and tangible. Another big plus of site visits - studying *Field Challenges* first-hand.
Project (with structured mentorship)
The learning activities will culminate in a mini-Project based on real-industry requirements, which the Students will build in teams, using all the concepts and design principles, and Industry Tools & Practices - encapsulating all the lessons learnt in this 100-Hours Course. The Students will receive structured mentorship at this stage of the Course to get any issues they are facing with the Project addressed, under guidance of Industry experts.
Assessment
The Course will end with Assessment exercises, comprising of an Objective-type test, followed by Project Presentation to Industry and Academia experts.

Special Highlights for MIT AOE Students
This 100 hours Professional Program is being conducted by CopperCloud in collaboration with MIT AOE. The first edition of this Course has been especially structured for the exclusive MIT AOE batch to help students in their mandatory academic activities, in partial fulfillment of their graduation.

There is a statutory requirement for students to undergo 4 to 6 weeks of Internships at an Industry. This 100 hours program is designed to subsumed the internship towards 2 credits. A separate Internship Certificate will be issued on completion of 6 weeks to fulfill this mandatory requirement.
Earn 2 Credits for the Summer Internship Program (SIP)
SY & TY Projects as part of Academic Curriculum
Students during their SY and TY are required to complete Minor & Major projects towards 2 credits. This requirement has been specially factored in structuring this program . Participants can build-up on the Mini Project towards the end of this Course to their respective SY/TY projects for 2 credits. CopperCloud will mentor these projects.
